Dr. Mary Meyer was an Honors Student with a major in Dance at the University of Washington. After studying dance in New York City, Dr. Meyer returned to Seattle University to complete her bachelors of arts in Biology in preparation for attending the University of Washington School of Medicine.
Dr. Meyer graduated in the top 10% of her class at the University of Washington School of Medicine. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Minnesota. She then completed a Pulmonary/Critical Care Fellowship at Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco followed by a 3 1/2 year Research Fellowship in Nephrology at the University of California at San Francisco. Dr. Meyer later went on to complete a Transplant Fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation before taking a position on the faculty of OHSU.
At OHSU, Dr. Meyer was the Medical Director of Plasmapheresis/Photopheresis and of Lung Transplantation. She was also on the Kidney, Liver and Pancreas Transplant Teams. Dr. Meyer had a double appointment in divisions of Pulmonary/Critical Care and Nephrology/Hypertension. She was also active in teaching and research.
Dr. Meyer's interests include: dance (she is on the board of OBT and White Bird), travel and hiking (Mt. Kilimanjaro), opera, art (collects glass art), music, theater, and reading.
Dr. Meyer is currently accepting new patients for her internal medicine practice at Westover Heights Clinic.
